A Quest…

I have started a quest.

A quest with a rather lofty goal for someone with my marketing skills. XD But…perhaps…that’s where you guys come in?

If you’ve read any of my past posts, you’ll most likely know that I recently published an allegorical fantasy novella, When the Stars Shine Again.

And I have set a goal to help WtSSA reach 20 ratings–and hopefully the same number of reviews– by July 1st, 2024.

Now, that may not seem like that is that hard of a quest…but it is. Readers love to read. They don’t enjoy reviewing quite as much. So it’s hard to wrack up a good amount of reviews at first. Especially from an unknown young author and a tiny platform like this library. XD

So…I’m asking a favor of you all. If you happened to get and read WtSSA, I would love to hear your thoughts on it in a review on Goodreads or Amazon!

Reviews are the lifeblood of an author. The more reviews a book gets, the more people will find it and look into it–and start the loop all over again by reviewing it themselves.

And if you care more about the fuel of a reader than the lifeblood of an author…reviews help you too! They provide information and content warnings, and help you know whether or not the book you’re looking into will be good fuel for you.

So. This post is to announce my quest…but it’s also just a bit of a shout out to authors everywhere who need reviews. XD
