End of Summer Tag

Lookie here! A tag!

This is actually a rather sad tag for me, as I absolutely love summer and really don’t like winter. 😂 But since it’s technically fall… I suppose I shall do it.

  1. Thank the person who tagged you. Thanks, Bree!
  2. Read and answer the questions.
  3. Then, add a question of your own! (After it gets to about 10-12 questions, start with the first original three and then start from the beginning for the adding your own question.) Use a W to start out your question.
  4. Tag at least three people.

What is the thing you look for most after summer ends?

…the first day of next summer. Or Christmas.

What is an activity from the summer (that you can’t do in winter) that you will miss most?

Swimming or hanging out outside. There are very few months out of the year in the north where one can go outside and not freeze after five minutes.

What is an activity in the winter (that you can’t do in summer) that you love to do most?

Sledding. A huge hill is somewhere in close vicinity, and from late November to early January, conditions are perfect for speed-sledding.

Heidi’s added question: Which one do you do: listen to Christmas music after or before Thanksgiving, or do you even start in July (or some summer month)?!

Christmas music usually gets turned on just before Thanksgiving. I may or may not be guilty of listening to it every now and then in July… but that will never be confirmed.

Bree’s added question: Would you prefer the short sleeves of summer or a nice cozy sweater, and do you mish-mash each season’s clothes, such as wearing a t-shirt in winter?

I most definitely prefer the short sleeves of summer. 😂 And I’m always mixing up clothes. T-shirts are my go-to no matter what time of year it is.

Lucy’s added question: Would you prefer brilliant, brightly colored leaves or enchantingly frosted branches?

Brightly colored leaves. They are beautiful to look at, and the weather that comes with them is still slightly warm.
