Countdown to Christmas Day 6

This afternoon I nearly panicked as I realized I had no one lined up to write today’s post.

But before I could, the amazing Madisyn Carlin stepped in and saved the day with this really cool Christmas-style bookish blog tag. I cannot thank her enough.

The Twelve Days of Books tag was created by Madisyn Carlin. Drawing inspiration from the popular song, Twelve Days of Christmas, this tag is where every bookworm, nerd, and bookdragon can geek out over their favorite books, characters, and covers.

THE RULES:

  1. Link back to Madisyn’s Twelve Days of Books post.
  2. Keep it clean, both in language and mentioned books.
  3. Tag as many bloggers as you’d like.
  4. Have fun!

THE QUESTIONS:

What is one book you want to receive for Christmas?

ARROW, by Madisyn Carlin. I’ve been waiting and waiting to read it.

Who are two of your favorite fictional mentors?

Hm… I’m actually really bad at figuring out what characters are mentors and such. 😂

Probably… Markham from the Fireborn Epics by Gillian Bronte Adams, and Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings.

Who are three of the evilest villains?

Sauron from The Lord of the Rings (really, no villain can get better/more evil than him), Sahak from the Fireborn Epics (he is one of those villains that give every scene an element of suspense and dread, and every thing he does makes you hate him more), and Morbin Blackhawk from The Green Ember.

Who are four of your favorite sidekicks?

Cheating here, and going with every side character from The Lord of the Rings. 😇

Who are five secondary characters who deserve their own story?

Stark and Madi Hatter from The Curious Realities by Sara Ella.

Finnian from the Fireborn Epics.

Helmer from The Green Ember.

Mordecai Westmore from 100 Cupboards. (Seriously. I’ve been wanting a book from his POV for almost five years.)

What are six worlds/eras you’d like to visit?

Narnia. 😍

Middle Earth.

The Civil War.

World War 2.

Neverland.

Wonderland.

Layree from The Shattered Lands.

Eowyn from The Lord of the Rings.

Libby from The Freedom Seekers by Lois Walfrid Johnson.

Leeli from The Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson.

Sydney from Wars of the Realm.

Kate from Adventures of the Northwoods by Lois Walfrid Johnson.

Who are nine of your favorite heroes?

(I’m cheating on this one too. I like too many characters.😆)

Rafi from the Fireborn Epics.

Edmund from The Chronicles of Narnia.

Ky from The Songkeeper Chronicles.

Chess Shire from The Curious Realities.

Peter Pan from both Peter Pan and the Heirs of Neverland Duology.

Lever from Castling by P.D.Akterson. (He’s technically not a hero… but I have to include him somewhere.)

Errance from Moonscript by H.S.J.Williams.

John from The Wide, Wide World by Susan Warner.

Frodo from The Lord of the Rings.

Max and Aidan from Of the Stars.

What are ten of your favorite covers?

The cover for Steal Fire from the Gods by Clint Hall.

The covers of the two Fireborn Epics.

The covers of the Curious Realities.

The cover of IRON by Madisyn Carlin.

The cover of Moonscript.

The covers of the Heirs of Neverland Duology.

Any covers by Lamplighter Publishing.

What are eleven of your favorite/least favorite tropes?

I have such a hard time with tropes… I honestly cannot think of that many. 😂

I love broken characters, found families, and both enemies-to-lovers and friends-to-lovers.
