Project Sugar Plum
I have officially started my short story for the collection, code-named Project Sugar Plum.
From the POV of Annalie Eric, the mother of A Noble Warrior‘s MMC, Cassian.
A reverse Nutcracker retelling, (AKA retelling events before the Nutcracker. Pretty sure I just made that up. XD) giving a non-spoiler-for-ANW account of the coup that set the plot of ANW into motion.

*gasps* THIS SOUNDS AMAZING, LUCY!! I’m excited to learn more about this short story, especially since it comes from Cassian’s mother’s POV. *heart-eyes* (She did need more screen time lol)

I’m so excited to write the story. …in between working on my new WIP novel. XD
Be prepared to meet Cassian’s mother and father, and revisit characters like Dasilmer and Mother Rothenberg! (And maybe…just maybe…18-year-old Cassian…)
(Yes, she did, but I couldn’t reallllllly help the fact that there was no way to give her more. XD)
