Meet the Author Behind the Library

Hey, everyone! I’m Lucy.

…yes, if you’re reading this, you most likely already know that. XD But I have never properly introduced myself to the blog, so after two years, I figured I should.

So. Hello, reader! Meet Lucy…

Beloved daughter of the Most High King.

Author of two fantasy novellas, When the Stars Shine Again and A Noble Warrior.

Artist. (Check out The Pixie’s Paintbrush!)

Author Conservatory student.

Star Wars nerd. (Anakin Skywalker has one of the most well-written negative arcs ever, no argument needed.)

Extreme bookworm who can devour three new books in a day if given the chance.

Blogger.

Narnian Queen who loves the fact that her name is Lucy P.

Villain, apparently. If there’s a villain in a new book or movie, there’s a 99.99% chance that I will suddenly become that villain to my siblings. (I think it’s cuz they always have the catchiest songs and I love singing to movie soundtracks…)

*Bows and shakes your hand*

I am a prairie girl. Crimson sunsets, golden-hour evenings, and vast starlit skies are my home.

I live where winters can last 8 months and get down to -70F. And…yes, I have gone outside in short sleeves with the weather below 0 because I don’t get cold and thus didn’t check the temperature.

I also sadly neglect this blog, because for some reason blog posts are a whole lot harder than fiction for me to write. XD

I love fantasy. Gillian Bronte Adams is my absolute favorite author (Rafi is the most relatable character known to mankind), and one can never forget Tolkien and Lewis and the first spark of magic they brought when introducing young me to speculative fiction.

I will devour a good-ol’ Star Wars anything, as stated above. Do not get me started on anything Star Wars, I will rant for hours. XD I’m currently still trying to get over the fact that Skeleton Crew is over…

Stemmed from my love of Star Wars and fantasy, I LOVE sword fighting. You can see that love reflected through Cassian, the main character of A Noble Warrior.

And…that’s me! XD Hello!

  1. Nice to meet you, Lucy! This is my first time on your blog. ❤ It looks great! Wonderful job, and I love all the collages 😀

Wow, that’s SO cool you live on a prairie! Have you ever read Hattie Big Sky? Your descriptions made me think of it! And I LOVE nightskies when the stars can be seen amazingly.

Hope you have a great rest of your week!! 😀
