Hello, travelers and readers! Today I have the pleasure of hosting a tour of the Shattered Lands—a sprawling country home to beauty, secrets, and danger—to celebrate the release of Shattered Redemption, the absolutely epic conclusion to the Shattered Lands series by Madisyn Carlin.

Welcome to Shattered Lands! And your first stop in this tour—the Forestlands.

Huge trees line the narrow path. The sharp scent of sap and pine, and the earthy comfort of warm dirt and thick green leaves, filling your lungs.

No air is as fresh as forest air. Though, the Highlanders might argue that…

You stop in a community built into the trees, sturdy cabins and moss-covered stones marking the holding. They offer you a Forestlands delicacy—roasted squirrel. (You can choose whether or not you eat it.)

Back on your horse, a slight breeze stirs the trees as golden sunlight filters through the millions of green leaves.

Every now and then you pass a clearing where the phantom stench of smoke and blood still haunts the abandoned rubble. The All Lands War hit the peaceful Forestlands hard, destroying a large chunk of their holdings before the Forestlanders could rally and fight back.

Whispers of another war don’t bode well for the Forestlands.

If you keep following the path through the trees, you’ll find yourself on the edges of the forest, with the faint crashing of waves in the distance.

Welcome to the second half of your tour—the Coastlands.

A salty breeze rushes past as you walk down the coastline, cool waves lapping at your feet. 

To your right stands a towering white castle, home of King Endarison. Rumor has it, he was a member of the Night Guard, a secret group of elite soldiers started by the king’s own father.

I cannot believe the series is over. But SR4 is such a fitting end.
