Dear, A Noble Warrior

I cannot believe it’s been a full year since you finally hit the shelves.

I wrote you with intense burnout, and honestly did not expect anyone to love you. Wow. I was wrong.

You were my hardest project, and the one where I saw God come through for me the most. My love letter to Nutcracker music, fluffy ball gowns, and intense sword fights. Readers loved you, and I eventually came around…and now I love you too.

It feels like only yesterday since I signed up for the Cornerstone Series. I sat down with a few scattered ideas, giddy to write a retelling of one of my favorite fairytales.

And you proceeded to shove a certain sarcastic and exiled prince into my head, and then shut me out of my doc.

Months of slow writing. Panicked edits. I don’t think I’ll ever forgive you for the formatting and software mess that almost made me miss my deadline.

But hey! You were finished. You were published. And…your release actually went well.

I never expected to fall in love with your world and quicky cast of characters as much as I did.

It’s been a crazy year. By the grace of God you hit the Amazon Best Seller lists, and now sit in my local Barnes and Noble. You’ve also been severely neglected in favor of other novels over the months. XD Sorry, not sorry.
