Cover Reveal; Voices of the Future: Stories of Warmth and Wonder

Ack! I can’t believe the Author Conservatory has hit their 10th anthology!!

(I literally was just writing the cover reveal post for anthology 2, this is not right. XD)

This anthology is super special to me, because one of my dear friends and fellow students is getting published in it. Her stories are SO sweet and whimsical, and I’m so excited that the world finally gets to read one of them.

And that story finally has a cover!!

But first…

About the anthology!

Discover the next generation of storytellers …

The tenth edition of Voices of the Future weaves together short stories of warmth and wonder in a memorable and heartwarming collection. Experience the next generation’s creativity and vision through these brief tales from rising young creatives.

The Author Conservatory is a college-alternative program for gifted writers focused on raising up the next C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. 100% of your purchase goes to help students attend writing conferences where they can pitch their work to agents and publishers.

Featuring “The Butterfly Tree,” a short story by Talia Rodriquez.

Eight-year-old Eislyn misses Daddy and counts the minutes until he’ll pass the butterfly tree on his trip. If she doesn’t meet him there, she can’t give him the paper butterfly she colored!

However, when Mommy has to stay behind and care for sick siblings, seeing Daddy means lighting the lanterns along the path with just her dragon, Flicker, for support.

With the night blacker than she anticipated, will Eislyn shy away from the dark? Or overcome her fear to meet Daddy at the tree with glowing butterflies instead of leaves?

And now…

The cover!!

Ah, it’s so fun!! Any book with pixie dust on the cover is an instant must-read. *heart eyes*

Also, the title is SO cozy—I’m so excited to read the stories that go with it! (And so excited for all of you to get to read Talia’s short story!!)

What do you think? Have you read any of the other VotF anthologies?
